OUR STORY
Next Gen Career Hub was created to help support young people aged 16–25 feel confident, informed, and ready for their first or next steps in their career.
We recognised that many young people felt isolated, overwhelmed by career choices, disconnected from traditional advice, and unsure where to begin. So we set out to create something different; a supportive, practical space built with young people, not just for them. At the heart of the Hub is a focus on supporting, connecting and empowering young people to thrive.
At Next Gen Career Hub, we believe everyone deserves guidance, encouragement, and the chance to build a future that works for them. No pressure. No judgement. Just support, opportunity, and belief in potential.
Connections
We have been delighted to have engaged with local businesses and organisations who are keen to support younger people on their careers. To date we have worked with Cummins, Ceva, Langley, Northampton college and local organisations and professionals who have provided workshops, apprenticeships, onsite tours, mock interviews as well as career talks.
Empowering Young people for a Brighter Future
Through our Next Gen programs, we focus on empowering young individuals by providing them with valuable resources and experiences. We encourage personal development, social interaction, and lifelong skills that will prepare them for a successful future.
We are excited to be working with Beyond the mask who have designed a program supporting young people develop confidence and a positive mindset.
Guiding Careers with Compassion
We provide trusted and reliable career guidance through our Help to Work Programme, alongside strong collaboration with key employment partners including DWP.
With such a wide range of support available across our community, we are passionate about showcasing the incredible organisations and opportunities that exist—helping young people connect with the right support at the right time.
Nurturing Volunteers, Building Leaders
As a charity organisation with more than 30 years of service to the community, we recognise and appreciate the significant impact that volunteering has on both individuals and the wider community. Our mission is to build connections and foster opportunities that not only enhance personal skills but also empower individuals to gain confidence, thereby supporting their future development effectively.
To date many of our members have signed up to volunteer which has proved hugely beneficial for their confidence, building experience as well as improving their well being.
